Homemade Cards

Homemade cards,  I whipped out a whole bunch of them last night. That’s how I roll. I like to make cards. I like to craft with paper. It makes my heart happy. Plus, I am very cheap! And making a card is WAY cheaper than buying one; and I think people enjoy receiving a homemade card???? I know I sure do! So, I make them; all the cards I give away I make. But…I used to make each individual one for each person and occasion as it arose. No more, I do not have time for that. 🙂 So, I usually take one day every few months and crank out 20-30 cards. Thank you cards, Birthday cards, Baby cards, Anniversary cards, and cards for just any occasion. I thought I would share them with you in case they inspired creativity on your part.

I love getting a hand written note in the mail. There is something so special about opening your mail box and finding that someone has written and mailed a special note to you just because they are thinking of you. It is so easy to talk to people via email, text, instant message, etc. I think that we sometimes forgot how powerful one simple homemade card filled with hand written sentiment can be.

So whether or not you make cards, or even WANT to make cards. Perhaps you can think of someone who could use a note in the mail from you. A little written word, to uplift and brighten their day. It is always nice to know someone cares.
