We Go Together Like Peanut Butter & Jelly – Day 8
We have really been struggling lately with our oldest Tana. She is having a hard time with her behavior at school and at home. I love her to bits (she is an amazing girl), but she seems to be in trouble more often than not lately. It is hard, as her parents, to feel like we are constantly coming down on her with a punishment or a correction or a re-direction. It is difficult as a parent to make sure there are enough positive moments in the day with your kids. I forget how many positive memories it takes to make up for a negative one, but it is definitely not 1 for 1. I am working hard lately to create positive moments with Tana and to remind her that as her Mom I love her and I think she is wonderful
I like to put notes in her lunches when she goes off to school. Kind of a nice little surprise for her when she opens her lunchbox. A reminder to her that I am thinking about her while she is at school and that I love, love, love her! I used matching twine and tied the tag, with a hand written note on the backside, around her peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
You could use this printable in so many ways. You could use it for your husband or boyfriend, or your best friend, or sister or brother. You could put it on a PB & J sandwich like I did. Or maybe some homemade jam and a jar of PB,, even some pb flavored candy. I can think of so many fun ways to package it up with this adorable saying.
Look at these yummy Peanut Butter and Jelly bars from Recipe Doodle
Wouldn’t those be great packaged up with one of these tags? Perfect!!
We go together like peanut butter and jelly. There are a lot of people in this world that I could say that about. I have so many wonderful people in my life and I know you do too. Use this cute tag for someone special to remind them that what you have together is great.
